Experience a unique journey to discover the Northern Lights in northern Norway on an organized group trip from March 19 to March 26, 2024.

We will start from Oslo, the Norwegian capital, and travel north through the city of Trondheim, taking a cruise through the fjords, until we reach Tromsø, just 600 km from the North Cape, the northernmost point of the European continent!

In this 8-day journey, you will have the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights at their peak during the 2024 solar cycle.

You will be accompanied by a group of friends from around the world with whom you will share this unforgettable experience.

Welcome to the JOURNEY: discovering the Northern Lights 2024

Here we are at the second edition of “My Friend In On Tour”! 🥰 This time, I have prepared for you a unique exploration of Norway during the spring equinox.

Highlights of our tour:

  1. 360° Journey: We don’t limit ourselves to a single experience. Probably the only journey that, in 8 days, offers a “complete” tour of Norway, from vibrant cities to pristine landscapes. Starting from Oslo, the lively Norwegian capital, passing through Trondheim and crossing the fjords with its secret and almost unexplored islands, ending in the Arctic capital: Tromsø. Each day will be full of new emotions!

 

  1. Solar Cycle Peak: 2024 is the year when the sun will reach its peak activity cycle, ensuring an unprecedented opportunity to observe the Northern Lights in all its magnificence.

 

  1. Spring Equinox: The spring equinox period offers optimal conditions for spotting the Northern Lights. Snow-covered landscapes transform under the colorful dances of the sky, creating a magical atmosphere.

 

  1. Multicultural Group of Friends: We are more than a group of travelers; we are a group of friends from different cultures. We will speak Spanish, English, Italian, and French. An extraordinary opportunity to meet like-minded people, share hostel rooms or entire apartments, creating authentic bonds.

 

  1. Solo Travelers with Freedom of Choice: If you love the freedom to travel but also desire company, you’re in the right place. We are solo travelers, following a common itinerary but with the freedom to participate or not in additional activities (at an additional cost) according to your preferences and interests.

 

  1. Unforgettable Cruise: The highlight of our journey will be a 3-day cruise through the Norwegian fjords, a magical experience that will leave you breathless. Start each day with spectacular landscapes and end it under the Northern Lights sky.

Detailed Itinerary*

  • March 19-21: Arrival in Oslo, city exploration, and the beginning of our journey north (flight Oslo – Trondheim).

 

  • March 21-22: Visit to Trondheim and the start of the cruise.

 

  • March 22-24: Cruise through the Norwegian fjords, breathtaking experiences, and Northern Lights sightings.

 

  • March 24-26: Arrival in Tromsø, visit to the Arctic capital, optional activities: Northern Lights viewing, sledding, trekking, etc.

The complete “My Friend In” package offers a unique experience!

What’s Included:

  • Trip planning (bookings, help in finding your flights to and from Norway, itinerary, transportation… think about it: going on a trip to Norway on your own, but with the convenience of having everything organized!) Your only task will be to pack your stuff (but I’ll also help you with the selection, don’t worry 🥰).
  • Cozy and authentic accommodations.
  • Cruise through the Norwegian fjords with half board.
  • Internal transportation (taxis, buses, shuttles) included.

 

What’s Not Included:

  • Flights to and from Norway.
  • Internal flight Oslo-Trondheim.
  • Meals not mentioned in the “what’s included” section.
  • Any personal extras, excursions, meals, etc., not mentioned in the “what’s included” section.

🚗 For a smooth journey, I have organized taxis, shuttles, and bus transportation. I will be your guide, ensuring a smooth trip for our group of maximum 7 fellow travelers (plus me, 8 in total).

🤝 Activities are a mix of cultural and natural experiences, engaging all your senses. Of course, I will be happy to discover your preferences and slightly adapt the itinerary/activities with you.

🫰 For expenses like groceries and additional activities, we will use the Splitwise app to simplify our responsibilities.

Travelling for Gran Canaria and choosing My Friend In was one of the best decisions for our holidays . A wonderful experience thanks to the knowledge and organization of My friend in which led us to discover wonderful places such as Anfi del Mar, the Maspalomas Dunes, Mogan, Las Palmas and many others.
