Join us on a group trip designed to bring you to the heart of Finnish Lapland during one of the best times to observe the Northern Lights. Departing from London, with options to leave from Barcelona, Madrid and Milan, we’ll embark on this magical journey to Northern Finland. In this 5-day trip, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the Arctic nature at its finest, immersed in a snowy landscape under the dance of the Northern Lights.

We’re thrilled to launch another edition of “My Friend In On Tour”! 🥰 This spring, prepare yourself for an unparalleled excursion that combines the magic of Spring Equinox with the spectacle of the Northern Lights.

Highlights of our tour:

  1. Complete Lapland Experience: In these 5 days, you’ll discover the secrets and beauty of Lapland, from evenings outdoors chasing the Northern Lights to adventures in authentic Arctic activities. Based in Rovaniemi, we’ll explore pristine landscapes and visit the famous Santa Claus village (without the extremely long Christmas’ queues!), making each day unique.

  2. Admiring the Northern Lights: Spring Equinox is the ideal moment to witness the Northern Lights, with high chances of clear skies and a snowy landscape transformed by the aurora’s colors, creating a magical atmosphere.

  3. Multicultural Group of Friends: We’re not just travelers; we’re a group of friends from different cultures. We’ll be speaking Spanish, English, and Italian, creating a unique, international environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to share an authentic experience, meet new people, and create lasting bonds.

  4. Freedom for Solo Travelers: If you love flexible travel, you’re in the right place! While following a common itinerary, you’ll have the freedom to choose optional activities (with possible additional fees) to tailor the experience to your interests.

  5. Authentic Arctic Experiences: Throughout our journey, you’ll enjoy unique experiences like a nighttime excursion to chase the Northern Lights, sled rides, snowshoeing, or ice-fishing on a frozen lake. You’ll be able to swap one activity for another option (with possible extra charges).

Detailed Itinerary*

  • March, the 19th: Arrival in Lapland and check-in at an Airbnb. Welcome and first exploration of the area.
  • March, the 20th:Visit to Santa Claus Village, with the opportunity to purchase handmade gifts and write a letter to Santa Claus. In the evening, first outing to hunt for the Northern Lights.
  • March, the 21st: Day dedicated to winter activities. Options: snowshoeing and ice fishing on a frozen lake, or visiting a reindeer farm with a sleigh ride (with possibilities for additions or substitutions).
  • March, the 22nd: Visit to the town of Rovaniemi.
  • March, the 23rd: Check-out and getting ready for the return flight.

The complete “My Friend In” package offers a unique experience!

What’s Included:

  • Trip planning including bookings and assistance in finding the best flights to and from Finland 🥰;
  • Cozy and authentic Airbnb accommodation.
  • All internal transportation (shuttles, taxis, buses).
  • Evening outings to chase the Northern Lights.
  • Activities like snowshoeing, ice fishing, or sledding.
  • Visit to Santa Claus Village.

  • Round-trip flights;

If you’re interested in specific cultural sites, wish for more time for independent exploration, or prefer specific activities like more time relaxing in the city, I’ll do my best to adapt the program to your preferences, making each day unique and personally enriching.

Travelling for Gran Canaria and choosing My Friend In was one of the best decisions for our holidays . A wonderful experience thanks to the knowledge and organization of My friend in which led us to discover wonderful places such as Anfi del Mar, the Maspalomas Dunes, Mogan, Las Palmas and many others. Mi primera experiencia “solo” en Sudamérica, decidí viajar a Mexico (Yucatán). Pero no solo del todo, porque decidí contratar el maravilloso plan de viaje que ofrece My friend In. Roberta, que es la artífice de este genial proyecto, me asesoró en todo momento sobre lo vuelos más baratos, los alojamientos con mejor calidad precio y un itinerario completo de más de 1.000km por todo el Yucatán e incluyendo actividades que personalmente me gustan como buceo o visita a cenotes. Además, pude disfrutar de su compañía como guía y de su experiencia en viajes, durante toda la expedición.
